In Small Particulate Cleaning, fogging isn't the end of the cleaning process — it's one step within it.
Our fogging process is designed to help bring microscopic airborne particles down onto surfaces, where they can be physically removed through detailed HEPA vacuuming and microfiber cleaning.
Unlike many commercial fogging services that focus on treating, sanitizing or neutralizing contaminants, SPC focuses on particle removal. We don't simply fog the space and call it clean. The goal is to capture, settle and physically remove the fine particulate that traditional cleaning can leave behind.
Every home — and every cleaning project — is different. Square footage alone doesn't reflect the time, detail and level of cleaning required for Small Particulate Cleaning.
Factors such as the number of rooms, furniture and belongings, accessibility of surfaces, and overall project scope can significantly affect the amount of work involved. That's why we provide customized estimates based on your home's specific needs.
Visit our Pricing page to learn more about what goes into your estimate and what to expect.
Yes! Sensitive Home SPC is based in Virginia, but we travel for Small Particulate Cleaning projects. A travel fee may apply depending on your location. This fee is not intended to generate additional profit — it simply helps cover the expenses associated with traveling to your home, such as transportation, lodging and other necessary travel costs.
Contact us with your location and project details, and we'll be happy to discuss travel options and associated costs.
No. Sensitive Home SPC specializes in Small Particulate Cleaning, not mold remediation. Any active mold growth, water intrusion or moisture issues should be properly addressed before SPC begins.
Our work typically comes after remediation, focusing on the detailed removal of fine particulate that may remain on surfaces, furnishings and belongings throughout the home.
While no cleaning service can guarantee that a home will remain completely free of mold, mycotoxins or other contaminants, we take extensive steps to document that the agreed-upon cleaning scope was completed.
All cleans are video recorded and retained for 90 days. This documentation provides a record of the areas and surfaces cleaned and the cleaning procedures performed. It does not certify that a home is free of mold, mycotoxins or other contaminants.
If ongoing water intrusion, moisture or other underlying issues have not been properly addressed, contamination can return after cleaning.
SPC provides a thoroughly cleaned baseline — essentially a clean slate — so post-cleaning environmental testing can provide a clearer picture of conditions following the clean and help identify concerns that may arise moving forward.
Not at all!
While our approach is designed with CIRS and environmentally sensitive individuals in mind, anyone can benefit from a more detailed approach to removing fine particulate from their home.
SPC may be especially helpful after mold remediation, water damage, construction or renovation, or when moving into a new home. It's also an option for anyone who simply wants a deeper, more meticulous clean that goes beyond what traditional household cleaning typically addresses.
You don't need to have CIRS or an environmental sensitivity to want a cleaner home.
We take a low-toxicity, sensitivity-conscious approach and avoid added fragrances and heavily scented conventional cleaning products.
Our process focuses primarily on physical particle removal using HEPA filtration and microfiber cleaning. When products are used, we carefully select options such as AeroSolver® for the fogging portion of our SPC process and Branch Basics for appropriate cleaning applications.
Because many of our clients have CIRS or environmental sensitivities, we're intentional about what we bring into your home. If you have specific sensitivities or products you need to avoid, please let us know before your clean so we can discuss them with you.
Traditional deep cleaning primarily focuses on visible dirt, dust and grime. Small Particulate Cleaning (SPC) goes beyond what you can see, with a process specifically focused on the physical removal of fine particulate that can settle throughout a home.
Our process combines specialized fogging to help bring airborne particles down to surfaces, HEPA filtration and vacuuming, and detailed microfiber cleaning of surfaces throughout the space.
SPC is especially detailed because we're not simply trying to make your home look clean — we're focused on removing the microscopic particulate traditional cleaning can leave behind.
It's cleaning beyond what you can see.
